Civil War Round Table meeting - Denny’s Restaurant – Shaw-Willow, Fresno, CA..............
On the invitation from Civil War Round Table President David Davenport I made a presentation in a small conference room. There was a group of twenty-five to thirty Civil War Round Table members and a few Sons of Confederate Veterans members from SCV Camp 1804. After I set up an easel with my large, glossy 2 x 3 foot book cover poster, I opened with the general synopsis without giving away too much of the story. I emphasized the Civil War reenactor involvement of the two secondary characters, and the connection with the main character Dr. Hank Houston. The talk was well received and I handed out bookmarks and the half-sheet flyer with availability sites and contact information.
